2) They stay active

One thing I’ve found that keeps me happy in retirement is spending time on my hobbies.

For me, it’s painting. I’ve always enjoyed art, but during my working years, I just didn’t have enough time to dedicate to it.

Now, I set aside some time each day to create something, whether it’s a quick sketch or a more involved piece. It’s incredibly satisfying and brings me so much joy.

So my advice? Find a hobby you love and make time for it every day. It can really add color to your retirement (no pun intended!).
