Life has a way of throwing curveballs at us. I’ve come to realize that it isn’t about avoiding these curveballs, but rather learning to handle them that defines our mental toughness.

Being mentally tough means handling life’s challenges with grace and resilience. It’s about bouncing back from setbacks and not letting them control your life.

Looking back, I can identify certain experiences that have shaped my mental toughness. And I’m betting if you’ve had these 8 experiences, you’re probably a mentally very tough person too.

1) Faced with adversity

In this journey we call life, bumps and roadblocks are inevitable.
