So instead of pushing them to the side, tackle them head-on.

I spent a good chunk of my life trying to make everyone around me happy, bending over backwards to meet their expectations. It was exhausting and, honestly, left me feeling pretty empty.

One day, I realized that no matter what I did, I couldn’t please everyone.

So, I made a conscious decision to stop.

This one’s personal for me. For the longest time, I struggled with self-worth.

I didn’t believe in my abilities and I constantly downplayed my achievements.

I’d always think, “I’m not as good as others,” or “I don’t deserve this.”

It was a tough cycle to break out of, but eventually, I realized that by discounting my worth, I was only holding myself back from reaching my potential.

So, I started challenging those negative thoughts.

Every time I’d think “I can’t,” I’d force myself to list three reasons why I can. It wasn’t easy, and it took time, but slowly, my mindset started to change.

So if you’re stuck in a similar cycle, remember: You are worthy. You are capable.

Don’t let anyone (including yourself) convince you otherwise.

Celebrate your achievements and push yourself to reach your full potential.

10. Stop Fearing Failure

Failure. Just the word can make us cringe. But here’s the raw truth: Failure is a part of life.
