Overcommitment to work or social engagements may also serve as a coping mechanism, allowing them to momentarily evade personal issues by immersing themselves in external responsibilities.

3) She’s always busy but never productive

Here’s something I’ve noticed about my closest friend. She’s always busy. In fact, she’s the busiest person I know.

She fills her day with tasks and errands, from morning till night. But despite all the busyness, she doesn’t seem to be getting much done. Her to-do list keeps growing, and she seems perpetually stuck in a cycle of busyness but without any real progress.

At first, I thought she was just disorganized or perhaps had taken on too much. But the more I observed her, the more I began to see a pattern.

This constant busyness could be her way of distracting herself from something deeper that she’s struggling with. By keeping herself occupied, she avoids facing whatever it is that’s causing her inner turmoil.

It’s like she’s running on a treadmill – always moving but never really going anywhere. And that’s a sign that she might be quietly struggling with something in her life.

4) She’s always making excuses

Consistently making excuses can often be a sign of deeper struggles in a woman’s personal life. Let me clarify.

Constantly making excuses may indicate a reluctance to take ownership of one’s actions or decisions. This behavior can stem from underlying feelings of inadequacy, fear of failure, or an unwillingness to confront difficult truths. 

Fear of judgment or criticism from others can also contribute to the habit of making excuses. Women may feel pressure to maintain a certain image or reputation, leading them to fabricate explanations for their behavior or circumstances.

5) She’s become increasingly indecisive

Difficulty in making decisions often reflects deeper struggles in a woman’s personal life.

How so?

Indecisiveness can stem from fear of making the wrong choice, leading to feelings of uncertainty and self-doubt. Women may avoid decision-making to evade potential consequences of conflict, further exacerbating feelings of stress and anxiety.

Lately, I’ve noticed a concerning change in my former colleague, Mirna, who was once the life of the party.

She’s started isolating herself, missing social gatherings, and turning down invitations, which is completely unlike her. Initially, I assumed she needed some space for herself. However, as her absence became more noticeable, I grew increasingly concerned.

This isolation seems to signal an internal struggle. While alone time is essential, completely withdrawing from others suggests a woman may be grappling with something she’s unwilling or unable to share. 

7) She’s stopped taking care of herself
